Yes, Lactic Acid Resurfacing Night Serum is safe for daily use and does not need to be washed off. However, you can absolutely cleanse your skin during your AM routine if you so desire.

The AHAs in Lactic Acid Resurfacing Night Serum make your skin more sensitive to the sun, so it is always recommended to wear SPF during the day.

Lactic Acid Resurfacing Night Serum has a creamy texture that absorbs without leaving a sticky after feel.
4. WILL THIS PRODUCT WORK ON MELASMA HYPERPIGMENTATION?
Lactic Acid Resurfacing Night Serum exfoliates skin, which can help reduce the appearance of discoloration and uneven skin tone. Be sure to wear SPF during the day.
5. CAN THIS FACE SERUM BE USED WITH RETINOL/PHYTO-RETINOL?
Lactic Acid Resurfacing Night Serum hasn't been tested for use with retinol. If you have sensitive skin, it is always a good idea to do a patch test first. If you were to use a conventional retinol with this product a good practice would be to alternate days between this and your retinol product. A great alternative is Phyto-Retinol Serum, which can be used with this and doesn't have the same photosensitivity as traditional retinol. We suggest Phyto-Retinol Serum in the morning and Lactic Acid Resurfacing Night Serum at night. If you want to use them together, apply Phyto-Retinol Serum first, then layer Lactic Acid Resurfacing Night Serum over.
How To Use: Massage 2-3 pumps onto cleansed face and neck.
When To Use: As part of your nighttine routine.
Layering Tip: Start with your cleanser, next apply treatments (eye cream and 10% Lactic Acid Resurfacing Serum), and finally your moisturizer. If using an oil, add last to lock in hydration.

The Right Stuff
Super pleased with this product. I’m using it at night as directed and I find by morning my skin is very soft and smooth. I’m loving the hydrating Squalane oil and the fact that it’s plant based. Ready to try more products from Biossance!

Game changer!
This lactic acid serum has made such a difference in my skin. I like to treat my skin well because at the age of 46, I do not like wearing makeup. My skincare IS my makeup! So happy that I trusted the other reviews for this product.

A must have
I'm 75 and have always taken good care of my skin. But as time goes on, I've found it more difficult to find a product that does the job. I'm on my 3d bottle of this and intend to continue. I also use a 1% retinol and a 10% glycolic acid cream as part of my daily skin care. I use this every night - and often more than once a night as it's on my counter and if ever I get up at night, I put more. I have to admit I look much younger than my years - and my friends often comment on how good my skin looks This is a MUST in my skin care.

Must have!
Love, love, LOVE this serum. I alternate this serum at night with another one I use. I feel like this helps keep my skin clear and hydrated. The texture is smooth and not too thick. It layers well with the repair moisturizer. This product is a must for me.

AMAZING
I never write reviews but this product is a game changer. I have never used anything with latic acid and use a number of other Biossance product which I love. I've been using this for a few months a few times a week and my skin looks better than it ever has. It is so smooth and bright. People are commenting on my skin alot these days and I really attribute it to this since this is the only thing that's changed. If you need some light exfoliation and for smoother skin, I highly recommend this. I just can't get over how much my skin has changed. Love it!

Best Night Serum I’ve Ever Tried!
I won’t go to bed without it! Every evening, after cleaning my face,, I look forward to applying my Biossance Squalane + Lactic Acid Resurfacing Night Serum. It is so soothing and rich, but not greasy or heavy. My normal-to-dry skin feels hydrated and protected. In the morning, my skin feels moisturized, and my fine lines and wrinkles are noticeably reduced. My smile lines are a thing of the past!

Smoother Skin After 14 Days
Biossance so kindly sent me a full size of this night serum to try and photograph the before & after. I did not use any other products with actives during this time. My skin feels much smoother to the touch, and the pores near my nose are less visible! I also noticed a nice glow after only a couple days. Texture: While this is called a serum, it has a texture of a thin cream. I used two pumps, and it blended in easily. Scent: This has a pretty strong chemical scent despite it being EWG certified. Usage: I used this nightly in my PM routine after my toner and before my moisturizer. I used two pumps per night for two weeks and it’s about 25% gone.

Not for sensitive skin
After 1 use my skin felt dry the next day, but I tried again anyway. Second application immediately burned and my skin turned red and inflamed. I put on moisturizer but that didn’t improve it. Finally I washed my face again and put on cortisone cream—it’s helping a little. If you have sensitive skin beware, or at least don’t use 2 nights in a row if your skin feels at all dry after the first use.
