It used to be perfect
This sunscreen was absolutely perfect. It left no white cast, it made the skin dewy and protected very well against the sun. However, the new formula is not it. It’s very thick and greasy and make my makeup crease which never happened. Worst of all, it broke me out like crazy. I haven’t had any pimple for months until I started using it. I am now left with many bumps around my mouth and 3 big pimples on my cheeks. Plus, I find it to sting the eyes whereas the previous formula didn’t. So disappointing.

Bring the old formula back
I used to love this sunscreen. It went on amazingly, didn’t leave any white tint, and left my skin glowy. This new formula is so thick that it pills on my skin and doesn’t rub nicely as it had before. It also leaves my skin looking matte instead of glowy. Would not recommend it all

My go to!!
I have loved this sunscreen for a long time - truly the best clean-ingredient zinc sunscreen that is actually transparent & does not leave a whiteish layer on my skin. (Great for tattoo coverage) I LOVE the new formula - my skin runs oily so this new matte texture feels great. Please make in larger tube sizes, I plan to use a lot of this product this summer!!

No white cast!
I was surprised at how sheer this sunscreen is. It goes on smooth and does have that bit of a matte feel to it, but it doesn't feel dry. It's sunscreen after all anyway! I have tried other zinc sunscreens that make me look like a ghost, but this one is really nice. I have not tried it with makeup yet, but others have said it works well.

Drying my skin out and white cast
I wish I loved this sunscreen-- I loved the old sunscreen. But after using it for a few weeks, I can confidently say that it's not for me. It goes on greasy (not glowy) and after a little bit of time dries super matte (which I don't like) and also dries out my skin. I used to have super hydrated skin all day, and now my skin has dry peel-y patches. This product is the only thing that has changed and I can feel it drying out. And now that I have dry patches, the sunscreen leaves behind white chalky residue. I am a longtime biossance lover and use almost all of their products. But this formula just isn't it, and isn't hydrating.

It’s okay
I like this spf, but it’s not my favorite on the market. It didn’t leave too much whitecast, but I’m super fair to begin with. It feels a little heavy/sticky for my preference. I could use it, but I have others I like better. It did not cause breakouts or have a bad smell which was nice.

Worth the 100% price increase? Not sure…
I loved the previous sunscreen and am really sad to see it go as the new version isn’t as good. It feels heavier on the skin and leaves a drier, somewhat chalky-ish texture behind. I’m also really disappointed in the 100% price increase for sunscreen noting that the price of the new 50ml bottle is the SAME as the previous 100ml bottle. I’ll be returning but honestly, even if I liked the new formula, I would have returned anyway bc it’s not worth the price given all the other clean sunscreen options on the market.

Awesome new formula
The new sunscreen formula is better! It has a creamy lotion texture and feels less oily than the prior formula. And while the new formula contains more zinc oxide for sun protection, it remains very easy to rub in clear on the skin. I am very impressed with the product, and the integrity of the company to only use quality ingredients that are not toxic to absorb! Thank you, Biossance!

Great SPF
I genuinly feel like I’m on the fence with this spf. I love the ingredients & that it brightens my face but leaves a white cast & peels a bit. I don’t hate it but I don’t love it. In my opinion its intentions are perfect but the formula needs to be perfected a bit more. For brow skin I’d recommend using another spf unless you want to look a couple shades lighter. Great under makeup which I am loving. You can see it brightens the face but I’d love that without the white cast. It’s a great indoor SPF & great under makeup.
