1. HOW DOES THE AMINO ACID PROVIDE CLEANSING?
We are using a lipo-amino acid, yes amino acids are building blocks but this one is designed to help with solubilization. This specific amino acid takes off makeup effectively, is great for skin conditioning and supports cleansing in a wash off formula. It is a great alternative to PEGS (petroleum-based compounds that are widely used in cosmetics as thickeners, solvents, softeners, and moisture-carriers.)
2. DO I APPLY ON WET OR DRY SKIN?
Apply on wet skin.
3. DOES IT HAVE A SCENT? ADDED FRAGRANCE/ ESSENTIAL OILS?
Yes, this does contain essential oils in appropriate amounts selected for cleansing benefits and important to the overall cleansing experience, way under the levels that can be damaging to the skin.
4. IS PACKAGING RECYCLABLE?
The bottle contains PCR and is fully recyclable. Pump is not recyclable.
Mix a small amount with warm water and work into a lather. Massage it onto face for at least 30 seconds, then rinse clean.

Amazing, gentle cleanser
Please replenish stock! Hands down the best cleanser from the best brand of skin care products. My face is clean, is not drying and actually feels like it rids my skin of the pollutants it is exposed to daily.

Great cleanser
This is by far my favorite cleanser. I’ve tried many, from the more popular name brands to small businesses. I have sensitive skin, but no issues with acne, so keep that in mind. This is non-drying and leaves my face soft. I’ve purchased more than once and I’ll continue to do so.

Extremely disappointed…
I really wanted to continue using Biossance, but this cleanser broke out my face soo bad. Squalane + Elderberry Jelly Cleanse was finally a cleanser I found that was perfect for my skin and this was what I tried after it was discontinued. Really frustrated that it was. Please bring back the Squalane + Elderberry Jelly cleanser.

Gentle and perfect for double cleansing
I received a sample and absolutely love it, will be buying the full size. I typically don't like a lathering cleanser, as I have dry sensitive skin. However, I use this when I double cleanse, after first cleansing with oils. It's gentle enough for my skin, but provides a deep enough clean where I literally see my pores cleaned out.

Disappointing cleanser
I absolutely loved the squalane and elderberry jelly cleanser!! My skin hadn’t looked or felt better in years. I was raving about Biossance! And then it was discontinued. Hoping for a close second I bought this. Very disappointing. My skin feels so dry and no glow.

Good lather. Skin doesn’t love it.
So far my skin doesn’t like it as much as the elderberry jelly which doesn’t seem to be available on the website anymore. Sad. Otherwise it does lather well. I’ll probably go back to an emollient cleanser tho. This is not my style.

Well, damn.
On a whim, I figured I’d try out this cleanser. It was on sale, and it’s something I hadn’t tried yet from the brand, so I figured why not. This is by far, without question the BEST cleanser I’ve used. It smells ridiculously good, the lather feels like silk on my face, and it rinses so clean. When I patted my face after washing it, there was virtually nothing on the towel but for a few streaks of makeup from areas of my hairline that I didn’t wash off properly. I couldn’t believe it; so much so that I laughed out loud. It didn’t leave behind an ounce of residue or film, and my skin looked and felt super smooth, and didn’t have that tight, detergent-washed feeling. It seemed to make a difference in the way my skin felt when I applied my serums and moisturizers afterwards. I have only left one other review on here, and it was for the Phyto-Retinol Serum, WHICH THEY NEED TO BRING BACK IMMEDIATELY. (No lie, that serum removed the one, deep wrinkle line that was dividing my forehead. Gone completely! But I digress.) There are three other items that I swear by, too— the Peptide Eye Gel and the Probiotic Gel Moisurizer, and now this cleanser. Try the cleanser!
