Our Linoleic Acid is derived from Soybean. Also our Glycerin comes from many vegetable sources and one of those vegetables is commonly soybean and/or corn. (like all vegetable derived glycerin, so if she uses other products with it and is ok... she should be ok as these are derivatives and not whole soybean.
5. WHEN DOES THIS EXPIRE?
Rose Vegan Lip Balm is best used within 12 months after opening.
6. IS THIS ROSE LIP BALM FRAGRANCE FREE?
No synthetic fragrance or essential oils are added, so it is completely fragrance free. The ingredients themselves do emit a mild scent that should dissipate a minute or two after application.

Genuinely Great
I am the kind of person who hates spending massive amounts of money on things that don't "last", so I'm reluctant to buy a small $18 lip product. However, a little goes a long way, and it legitimately feels so nice. No strong scent or taste or feeling. It glides on so smooth and stays for a couple of hours before it's absorbed. My lips always feel nice and hydrated after and I haven't had to deal with chapped lips since I started using this 1-2 times per day. I don't know about the "plumping", as that's not why I bought it, but if you're just trying to hydrate like me then this does the job very well and it feels much better than standard lip balms.

Hydrating and plump
This is just what I needed for my lips! It’s currently almost winter in NY and my lips are dry and just ugh. I really like the lip balm and it really does plump my lips up and the smell isn’t too strong which I like. I received the sample/travel size of the balm and I love how the packaging is sturdy and the quality is all there. I love everything about it and I love how there is squalene in it! Going to buy the full size once I run out :)

This Rose Vegan Lip Balm is Wonderful
This Lip Balm goes on easily and has been perfect for my lips which have been so dry with the change of seasons. My lips are so soft and seem fuller. I am so happy and give my highest rating. In addition to my order I received 1 travel sized lip balm which my Mother had to have. I'm sad that I can't order that size by itself. Oh well, I hope the offer coupon to add it to a larger order is still in place when I reorder my face care. I love, love, love all of biossance products!

Perfect!
Absolutely love this lip balm. Makes mey lips super soft and supple. I also used it for my eyebrows & on my eye lids when I want a dewy look. Looks Fabulous! Feels Fabulous.

On the fence
To be honest, I bought this because of the pretty packaging and I needed an extra item to get free shipping. I’ve tried nearly the entire product line and I love them all, so I was excited to try their first lip product. I’ve used it several times over the last few days and so far, this is the first product that I’m still on the fence about. First off, while the packaging is cute af, I’m not a huge fan if anything that requires me to dip my fingers into so I wish this came in a twist tube applicator. Second, while I like the sheen this balm leaves on my lips, I can’t say that it feels particularly moisturizing. I find that the product just sits on my lips and doesn’t really sink in and I feel like I need to keep reapplying every hour. Even after the product wears off, my lips are still as dry and flakey as before. I do like that it’s tasteless with only a slight rose scent, but it hasn’t really done much for my dry lips so far. Maybe it’s a product that I need to keep using for awhile before I see its full benefits. So far, I don’t hate it but I’m not absolutely in love with it yet either.

Super Hydrating
I love this lip balm! It's super hydrating and gives my lips a good shine without being oily or sticky! The only thing I would say is that this product can be hard to get the container because it's not a creamy consistency like the display image portrays.
