Our Global Brand ambassador Reese Witherspoon is starring in Netflix’s newest original rom-com, Your Place or Mine, streaming now. We’re celebrating this much-anticipated release with a behind-the-scenes look at her on-set skincare routine, including her favorite Biossance formulas.

Biossance: We’re so excited to see you in a romantic comedy! What’s the plot line?
In the movie I play Debbie, a Type A mom, afraid to break out of her routine, and she uses Post-its to leave reminders for everything. No really, like everything!
Debbie and Peter are best friends and total opposites. She craves routine with her son in LA; he thrives on change in NY. When they swap houses and lives for a week they discover what they think they want might not be what they really need.
Biossance: If you could pick a single product as your must-have for prepping your skin on set, what would it be?
Before a day of shooting, I always start with Marine Algae Eye Cream. With long days on set, a good eye cream is a MUST. Especially for a rom-com when you need to have that “bright-eyed, freshly-realized-you've-been-in-love-with-your-best-friend-for-decades” glow. Trust me, I have experience with that.

Biossance: In Your Place Or Mine, Debbie switches places with Peter and goes from LA to NY. What are your must haves on cross-country flights?
A good book, noise-canceling headphones and Vitamin C Rose Moisturizer. If there’s one thing Debbie and I share, it’s needing things to be efficient. We’re both busy moms with careers. Just toss this moisturizer in your bag and you know your skin is going to get what it needs. It has this gorgeous, silky, cushiony texture and after I put it on, my skin instantly looks more radiant. It’s the best travel companion whether you're traveling for work or to meet up with a long-distance special someone.

Biossance: What’s the best way to get a “falling in love glow” on Valentine’s Day?
Well you could spend years flirting with someone as charming as Ashton Kutcher like I do in the movie, but lucky for you I’ve got something that works a lot faster and is a lot lower maintenance. (No offense Ashton.) Just add Vitamin C Rose Oil to your skincare routine. It’s amazing because it brightens and hydrates. I have really dry skin especially during the winter, so I use it two or three times a day.
I don’t know about y’all but I think I'd take the Rose Oil over roses this Valentine’s Day.
