Yes, it is safe and we recommend you apply around the eye area for even better results.

Yes, the glass jar is fully recyclable, once rinsed out. Just dispose of the inner seal disc and outer label.
3. HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT THAN THE PEPTIDE EYE GEL?
Marine Algae Eye Cream is a rich, yet non greasy cream that visibly lifts and tightens the delicate eye area. It is specifically addressing preventing and correcting the look of fine lines and wrinkles, while Squalane + Peptide Eye Gel is a lightweight gel formula that targets signs of fatigue including dark circles and puffiness.
4. THE COLOR IS DIFFERENT. DID YOU CHANGE THE FORMULA?
No formula changes. As we don't use synthetic colorants, the color in the eye cream comes from a natural algae extract that has that peachy hue. Depending on the lot of this particular ingredient, there can be variation in the finished product color.
Gently apply eye cream to entire eye area using ring finger. Massage around the eye, out to temple and underneath the brow bone (can be used on eyelids).
Use twice a day, morning and night.
For best results, use after cleansing and before serums and moisturizers.

Melts into all eye surfaces !
Am 75 & this is the very best eye cream I have found, including more pricey ones. Does not bleed into eye when applied to eyelid and brow. A little goes a long way. Tap under eye and brows, allowing it to warm. Then use clean dry finger to tamp cream. Melts. Even use between brows where I have notable deep lines.

this is so creamy and luscious, i love it. i don't think it does anything for fine lines or darkness under eyes, but it feels good.

Not bad. Not great.
I have tried countless eye creams and serums and had high hopes for this one, given the vast amount of praise online and countless phenomenal reviews and recommendations. The texture is absolutely amazing and a little does go a long way. However, after a little over 2 weeks of using this twice a day, I see absolutely zero difference to my eye area. I do also notice a slight irritation around the eye area (not nearly as severe as others have mentioned but there is an itchy discomfort) which subsided after stopping this product. At the price point and with such a high expectation, I can honestly say it fell short for me with all aspects of what it claims to do.

After a week of using this on my eyes, I developed rashes in my neck. Very sad as I can see the good effects immediately. I've tried and use many Biossance products and I found I need to try new to me products one at a time as I find that I can react to a lot of their products. I persist because 5 of their products are part of my skincare routine and the effects are fantastic. Mainly, if a Biossance item does not agree with me, I get rashes on my neck, my forearms or my body.

I am on my second jar of this and absolutely love it! I can honestly say that it has made a difference in my eye bags. I have tried so many different brands and this is the first that I have used where I can notice a difference. I won't use anything else!

Favorite eye cream
I've tried many different eye creams because my eyes are so sensitive, but I think I can really commit to this one. I love the texture and it feels like it really absorbs rather than sitting on top of your skin. It's helped with my dark circles and I never feel the need to wear concealer anymore.

Not a fan of the jar packaging. The product goes on ok but then pills. But the real bottom line is that it's not any more effective than many much less expensive eye creams.
