1. WILL THIS GET RID OF MY PIGMENTATION AND ACNE SCARRING?
With continued use of this serum and sunscreen protection you can see an overall more even skin tone and help fade visible discoloration in the skin.
2. WHY 10% OF VITAMIN C?
This is a daily use treatment, a lifestyle serum if you will. 10% has been shown to be an effective and safe amount for daily use. A higher percentage does not equal better or faster results. It is actually possible to have a higher chance of sensitivity when using higher %'s. Even if the % is higher it does not mean that the ingredient is acting on the skin in a stronger manner. I would value stability over higher % for better results and less chance of degradation/irritation. The stability of Vitamin C within a formula is much more important than the percentage.
3. SHOULD THIS BE USED FOR SPOT TREAT OR ALL OVER APPLICATION?
Results are better if applied all over - our formula only targets excess melanin.
4. IS IT FRAGRANCE FREE?
No synthetic fragrance or essential oils are added, so it is completely fragrance free. The ingredients themselves may emit a mild scent that should dissipate after application.
Massage 2-3 pumps of the vitamin C for dark spots serum onto a cleansed face and neck, morning and night.
Use before other treatment products, and follow with any Biossance moisturizer.

Bad reaction :(
I have used this serum before and many other Biossance products, but I had a very bad reaction to this serum recently. I started using the product and immediately my skin turned very red, blistered, and painful almost like I had been sunburnt. My skin is still very red and blotchy even after a few days of stopping the product. I hope it goes back to normal soon...I would definitely recommend getting the smaller size to try first or doing a test patch. Disappointed that I won't be able to use this any longer!

I look sunburnt!!
I started using the dark spot serum and the next morning my skin felt ok but then I used it for another couple of days and my skin looks red and sore as if I’ve been sunburnt! I’ve been working so hard on my skin for 2 years to get it looking healthy and this serum has messed it up!

New holy grail

I'm impressed
I'm truly impressed with this serum. I have pretty bad sun damage from decades of living in Florida. Using this mostly 2 times per day for a few months, I've seen significant results. My two darkest spots on my face are practically gone and others are MUCH lighter. I started dabbing the serum on two dark spots near my collarbone and one on my hand about a month ago and they are all about 50% lighter. I would like to use this over most of my body but that would get pretty expensive! Unlike a few other reviewers, I've not had any reactions to this serum. Please, please, please don't get rid of it! I just encourage others to do a spot test if they are concerned about sensitivity.

Works!
I use it in the morning under my moisturizer and at night. It's a slower fade but it works! I use it with the Rose Vitamin C at night. Why was this out of stock for quite some time?? I had to go about 2 months without it and noticed my dark spots becoming more pronounced.

Bad reaction
Like others, I had a bad allergic reaction to this product with swollen, red, burning eyelids that eventually peel. So strange because this was my second full size bottle and I’ve used multiple sample sizes - maybe I got a bad batch?

Love this product
I have been using this product for 2 years. It works wonders on my melasma. I have noticed it is always out of stock. I am hoping it will not be discontinued.
