While we work to develop the most hyper-effective formulas, we also keep sustainable practices, like using sugarcane, as a top priority. Using every bit of sugarcane, our MVP (most valuable plant) is our secret ingredient that transforms skin and enables us to lead in sustainability.
Our sugarcane field poses no risk of deforestation and is entirely sustainable. Its field is in Brazil, far from the Amazon rainforest, ensuring the most sustainable growing and harvesting practices take place. The rainfall naturally irrigates the sugarcane, making it a renewable resource.
No part of the sugarcane goes to waste; every part of the plant is used—this is when the magic starts. Outer product packaging is created with sugarcane plastic and the outer cartons are made with sugarcane paper from a byproduct called bagasse. Bagasse is made when sugarcane is pressed into juice. To extend our sugarcane’s sustainability impact even more, Bagasse is converted to renewable energy and powers surrounding communities in Brazil, our own Brazilian facilities, and power grid.
