Put Skin Health First With Our New Squalane Hand Sanitizer

Clean, healthy hands are more important than ever. While hand sanitizing is an easy and effective way to defend against harmful germs and bacteria, too much of certain hand sanitizer formulas can strip the skin of much-needed moisture, leaving it feeling dehydrated, irritated, and red. With this in mind, Biossance is excited to deliver the ultimate hand sanitizer to help: a hyper-effective and hydrating solution that uses scientific expertise to give you the softest, healthiest hands.

Our new Squalane Hand Sanitizer works in two key parts: First, it powerfully defends hands against germs and bacteria using 70% ethyl alcohol (10% more than the CDC recommended minimum). Next, sugarcane-derived squalane and vegan glycerin set this formula apart by immediately replenishing and protecting the skin’s moisture barrier. Finally, sanitized hands and hydrated hands can be delivered in the same product.

As always, sustainability was also a top priority for us throughout the formulation and packaging process of our Squalane Hand Sanitizer. Our hero ingredient, sugarcane-derived squalane, is a renewable and vegan alternative to squalene, a product that has historically been harvested from shark livers. It also comes packaged in a bottle that uses sustainable sugarcane to reduce overall CO2 emissions.
