It's also a great time to revisit your medicine cabinet and Spring clean your skincare routine. That means junking old, unused and expired products as well as trading products with less than desirable ingredients for cleaner alternatives.
We get asked about routines A LOT, so to help inspire you to spring clean your skincare routine, we created routines for three different skin concerns: moisturizing routines, anti-aging routines, and brightening routines. And while we don't believe there's a one-size-fits-all order of application, these routines follow the order we recommend getting the most benefit out of our products. So read on to help Spring clean your skincare routine.
The first step in any good skincare routine is to cleanse. Even if you don't wear makeup, cleansing the skin at night removes dirt, oil and sweat that builds up throughout the day. If your skin is extra dry or if it produces a lot of excess oil, you can skip the cleansing step in the morning and just use warm water to remove oils that build up overnight. You may find that cleansing less can help reduce over-production of oil.

The key takeaway with all of these routines is applying products from most water content to least. This is the order that makes most sense for you skin to absorb the key ingredients. But feel free to play around! You might find your skin reacts best by applying products in a different order.
